This is coming straight from the heart. PLEASE, keep it real and guard your heart. Too many times we (including myself in the past) wait for the “red flag” moments to set boundaries and “protect” our hearts.
Truthfully, and I say this with love, we need to stop “playing on the line”. Boundaries need to be set from the GET GO, from THE START, WITHOUT any red flags. I know it’s not easy, especially at our age… but if you’re getting upset with what I say, sorry… kind of. I don’t mean to sound condescending or belittling, but if I made you upset, I challenge you to find out why…
A SMALL compromise is still a COMPROMISE. And then it’s just a matter of time… And typically, small compromises aren’t physical… they’re mental. Check what’s runnin’ in your mind.
Trust me, I’ve gone through enough broken hearts to know that it’s not worth it. Seek security in God FIRST everyone.
